What’s New for the 2026 Defender 110?
The Land Rover Defender is the perfect SUV for Annapolis drivers who expect luxury and refinement without sacrificing rugged capabilities. The Defender launched its second generation in 2020; several updates came online in 2026. This midsize SUV continues to be available in three body styles. The mid-range option is the Defender 110, which has a four-door layout and two rows of seating. What can you expect from the 2026 Defender 110?
The 2026 Land Rover Defender 110 has the same performance capabilities as the 2025 version. It is offered with your choice of four powertrains. The base engine is a 296-horsepower, turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. A 395-horsepower, turbo 3.0-liter, six-cylinder engine and a 518-horsepower, supercharged 5.0-liter, V8 are also available. The detuned version of the V8 engine delivers 493 horsepower. Regardless of your engine preference, the Defender 110 has standard all-wheel drive and an eight-speed auto transmission.
The Defender 110 benefits from a style refresh in 2026 and introduces two new paint colors: Borasco Silver and Woolstone Green. An updated design is also available with 22-inch wheels. The Defender 110 continues to have a boxy, bold design, and it now shows off flush taillights and a glossy black grille. The front and rear bumpers are modernized as well. The pattern on the side air vents and hood inserts is also elevated with a textured look for the first time.
Inside, the 2026 Defender 110 now features a 13.1-inch infotainment system screen, an updated center console, and a new placement for the gear shifter knob. The updated adaptive off-road cruise control automatically modulates the throttle over challenging terrain. In addition, the latest driver attention monitor helps drivers focus on the road. Other features available include a panoramic sunroof, synthetic leather or authentic leather upholstery, a digital rear mirror, heated seats for all three rows, a head-up display, a refrigerated center console, an 11.4-inch touch display screen, adaptive cruise control, and other features.
